Used Celestron NexStar GPS 11 The NexStar GPS was the predecessor to the CPC series, and was arguably one of the best telescopes ever produced by Celestron. It features an attractive carbon fiber optical tube and is in very good condition overall. The optics are very clean. This sample includes an upgraded Feathertouch microfocuser and a counterweight system for balancing photographic accessories. Other accessories not shown include the standard 1.25" star diagonal, 40mm Plossl eyepiece, the programming cable used to update the motor controller firmware, and a set of Bob's knobs that were never installed, At present it is missing one of the pointed tripod feet, but the owner believes he may have it. We do not have complete shipping boxes for this item and would strongly prefer a local sale. These telescopes were produced up until 2005 when they were superseded by the CPC series, and originally sold for $3299. |
