This is an ideal beginner telescope capable of showing you the moon, the planets, and a number of the brighter deep space objects. The full moon will nearly fill the supplied 25mm eyepiece. We suggest the addition of either a 9mm or 7mm eyepiece to get a closer look at the planets. Either of these will reveal the rings of Saturn or the bands and zones on Jupiter in a way that will pleasantly surprise any first time telescope user.
