|The Losmandy G-11 mount is a high-quality German equatorial mount with a 60-pound instrument capacity that is popular for imaging applications. This is the mount that many of our more serious imaging customers graduate to once they have exceeded the capabilities of an entry level mount. With a 60 pound instrument capacity it can easily handle the load of an eleven-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain complete with a guide scope, autoguider, larger format CCD camera and filter wheel. The heaviest single component weighs only 35 pounds, which means this mount remains highly portable in spite of its large instrument capacity. |
