Counterweights
Telescope mounts often require additional counterweights when imaging accessories or a larger optical tube are attached. There is little in the way of standardization in terms of counterweight shaft diameters. As a result of this, it is normally advisable to use the counterweight recommend by the manufacturer of the mount. Where possible we include alternate applications within the individual product descriptions.
