Telrad Reflex Sight - the standard in unit power finders for all telescope types. Concentric rings of 1/2, 2, and 4 degrees make star hopping easy. Looking through a Telrad you see the sky the way the star charts show it. The image is neither magnified nor upside down. Three lighted concentric rings help you to locate and quickly center the target. The outer ring is four degrees across, outlining the area shown by a typical finder scope. The middle ring is two degrees across, while the smaller central ring is 1/2 degree across. The known spacing of these rings allows rapid star-hopping to the target. The Telrad is eight inches long, weighs 11 ounces, and mounts on any telescope without drilling holes. The finder itself quickly detaches from its base for storage or use on another scope. Additional bases are optionally available. |
